BIRD HOUSE

Over the past few months my wife and I have been busy working on our home in SE Portland. Because I left my Portland studio last June, I am free to work from home and spend time fixing it up. We live in a small bungalow with our cat, Captain Jack and husky, Dakoda. The house is in the " hanging art on the walls stages " and this will be one piece specifically for my wife Rebekah. She loves trees and birds, hence her nickname "BIRD" and tattoo I have. This photograph was taken from a water puddle that I cross over everyday when I walk Dakoda. My fine art photography is available for purchase. Contact me for info or if you would like  something specific for your creative space or home.

Wow. Since I am a bird and tree lover too, this image instantly caught my attention. It's just gorgeous.
I recently stumbled onto your blog and it's been a joy visiting :)

VISUAL FEED

Abstract; a window of escapism to drift in and out of. Our perspective is broadened and our eyes are opened to new wonders when we look at art without objection or understanding. The abstract form is among one of my favorite arts. It doesn't need any explanation and forces us to look inside and discover what impact or feelings we draw from it. This piece was taken in my dining room one early morning when I was having my coffee. I have been working a lot on my fine art photography, keeping tuned in on being creative and keeping my passions growing.

FIRST SHOTS

Yesterday I got my film back from the first few frames I shot with the Hasselblad. It was such a difference of excitement looking at film then downloading digital files. These frames were scanned in and had some post work done for effect.

WINDOW ART

This has been the view lately from inside our apartment looking out the windows into the snow. It was taken on my Canon 1D Mark III at night @ ISO 3200
